Mr Fox says

Forty Years On (SR:117, 13/8) is the highest-rated horse in the field by a clear margin over Dance In The Storm (SR:110) and The Prettiest Star (SR:112), and crucially carries the same weight (9-3) as Dance In The Storm, neutralising any weight-for-age offset. The form string 12-114 shows a dominant last-time-out win at this exact class (ClassMv:=), and DistFit:+ confirms she is proven at 6f. William Buick (25% career strike rate, 1513 runners) is one of the strongest bookings in the field, and the market has shortened 13% since opening — quiet but meaningful steaming that sits alongside the favourite-level price. Dance In The Storm (SR:110) drifted to 2/1 with a 46% market contraction that reads as genuine confidence, but its SR is inferior, its GoingFit is only moderate (~), it steps up a class (ClassMv:↑1), and the form string 150145 shows limited consistency — including a 5th and a 4th — at a lower grade. Each-way alternative: Zen Diva. Main danger: Dance In The Storm — Dance In The Storm has steamed in 46% in the market — the most dramatic move in the field — is ridden by Oisin Murphy (22% strike rate) and at SR:110 is not without ability, making it the horse most likely to exploit any underperformance from Forty Years On despite the class rise and moderate going and distance fitness flags.
