Talk of New York (SR 135, 1/2) is the standout on every meaningful metric in this seven-runner Group 2. The SR of 135 is 16 points clear of the next-best Persica (SR 119) — an enormous gulf at this level — and Charlie Appleby's yard is firing at a 33% career strike rate with William Buick, whose 25% career rate makes this one of the most powerful jockey-trainer combinations in British racing. The market has shortened a further 8% since opening, confirming professional confidence, and DistFit:+ plus GoingFit:+ on good ground at Newmarket means conditions are tailor-made. The form string of 31132 shows consistent Group-level engagement, and the horse carries just 9-2 — no weight burden disadvantage.
